As part of preparations for the qualifiers for the African Nations Championship (CHAN), the local national team of Senegal began an intensive training course at the Jules François Bocandé Technical Development Center in Toubab Dialaw.
This regrouping, which will begin on Monday, December 9, will take place over an unusual duration of 11 days, a significantly longer format than the usual three or four day courses. Under the direction of coach Souleymane Diallo, 23 players were summoned to fine-tune the final adjustments before the double confrontation against Liberia. The first leg is scheduled between December 20 and 22, while the return leg will be held between December 27 and 29.
Among the players selected are several regulars from previous groupings. However, the players of ASC Jaraaf, involved in the African Club Cup, do not appear on this list, their busy schedule justifying their absence. The clubs of Teungueth FC and AS Pikine are the most represented in this selection.
