THE SPORT SCAN – While Lewis Hamilton is participating in his last Grand Prix with Mercedes this weekend, the German team paid tribute to him this Thursday in a video posted on Instagram.
«Imagine… Thank You, Lewis». It is with this title that the Mercedes team named the Instagram video in which it pays tribute to Lewis Hamilton. While the British driver will leave Mercedes after 11 years, 245 races, 84 victories and 6 world championship titles, his team has released a video in which it retraces the best performances of Lewis Hamilton under his colors as well as testimonials from children inspired by his journey.
The clip then shows losing the 2021 world champion title in Abu Dhabi to Max Verstappen before Lewis Hamilton as a child says “Imagine being in an F1 car.” As a reminder, the Briton has signed with Ferrari for the 2025 season.
