“From Stage to Job”: an innovative recruitment method in Eure – News

State services are innovating in Eure to promote recruitment thanks to the program “From the Stadium to Jobs”led by France Work Normandyin collaboration with partners such as the French Federation of Savate French Boxingl’National Sports Agencyand the Olympic Games Organizing Committee.

A concept combining sport and employment

The principle is simple: abolish the prejudices linked to CVs and traditional interviews by allowing job seekers and recruiters to meet in a framework anonymous and playfulvia sporting activities accessible to all.

A day structured into three highlights :

1. Sports morning : participants, anonymous and identified only by their first name, take part in collective activities, such as athletics, boxing, football or judo. These workshops are designed to reveal the human qualities essential to the professional world: team spirit, listening, rigor and sense of anticipation.
2. Friendly lunch : a moment of informal exchange between candidates and employers, promoting the creation of authentic links.
3. “Job dating” : after the anonymity is lifted, the recruiters begin interviews based on the interpersonal skills observed in the morning.

Meetings in Eure:

• Val-de-Reuil (12 December) : athletics
• Les Andelys (December 17) : taekwondo

Since the start of the year, these events have multiplied in Eure, with six editions already organized. In which it is estimated that 60% of participants find employment or training after their participation.
