Bayern Munich’s Canadian star, Alphonso Davies, was arrested drunk while driving his Lamborghini on the night of Thursday to Friday.
This is the German media Bild which reported the affair Friday morning, emphasizing that the 24-year-old soccer player had been intercepted around 2:15 a.m. in Munich by police officers who quickly smelled the odor of alcohol while talking with him.
Taken to the station, Davies, who is also the captain of the Canadian national team, submitted to a blood alcohol test which revealed that his alcohol level was 0.6 g/L, while the limit legal, in Germany, is 0.5.
This quantity constitutes an offense and not a crime, because the criminal sanction applies at 0.8 g/L.
Still according to the BildDavies faces a fine of 500 euros and the suspension of his driving license for one month.
It was a friend of his who brought home the precious black Lamborghini Urus.
Davies trained as normal on Friday, while Bayern have yet to comment on the matter.
