From his Georgian friend, Frédéric Chassot was used to receiving news once or twice a year. In June, after Georgia’s encouraging results for its first participation in a Euro, he sent him a message. “We finally talked for about twenty minutes on the phone, I teased him about the level of football in his country. He was happy, happy to be in Georgia,” specifies the former footballer.
