Max Verstappen will have a white and gold helmet this weekend, sporting four stars on the back, after his fourth world title in Las Vegas. The Red Bull driver waited until he was champion to unveil this helmet and the shoes that go with it, and he will use them in Qatar this weekend and then in Abu Dhabi.
“These things are always in the back of my mind. They were already in Vegas but I didn’t want to see them before the finish. Every year we try to do different things, and I’m sure it will look nice in the night” Verstappen said.
With four consecutive crowns, he could equal Michael Schumacher if he were to triumph a fifth time in a row next year. The Dutchman explains that he is already thinking about next season and that the development of the RB21 has already started.
“To be honest, I want to try to learn in these last two races but we already have some ideas of things we want to change for next year. Only time will tell if it’s competitive or not. “
