Matias Fernandez-Pardo continues to adapt at the highest level! The young talent delivered an assist in the Champions League with LOSC.
This Wednesday, LOSC faced Bologna in Italy as part of the 5th day of the Champions League. Two Belgian players were at the kick-off on the Lille side: Thomas Meunier and Matias Fernandez-Pardo.
And the latter also delivered a decisive pass. The young winger did a great job on the left side before giving the ball to Ngal’ayel Mukau who finished the action perfectly.
Lille finally won with a score of 1-2 thanks to a double from Mukau, who is… Belgian-Congolese. The former Mechelen player does not, however, represent Belgium. Indeed, he chose to play with the DR Congo. The Antwerp native already played with the U21 side when he was under 18.
This double is a great first for him. These are even the first two goals of the 20-year-old’s career. He will certainly remember this evening.
