Is Detroit Red Wings organization defenseman William Lagesson a fan of mixed martial arts?
The 28-year-old Swede, who currently plays in the American League with the Grand Rapids Griffins, literally performed a rear choke hold on poor Adam Raska, of the Iowa Wild, during a game played on Sunday.
Raska, obviously well aware of what he was going through, even slapped Lagesson on the arm three times to let him know that he was surrendering!
Lagesson, who played three games with the Montreal Canadiens in 2021-2022, received a two-minute penalty for roughness for his gesture.
