Ah, this famous Four Nations Tournament.
Several questions arise regarding the final alignment of the Canadian team.
While many saw Connor Bedard easily making the team before the start of the season, the chances of finding the young prodigy in the Maple Leaf are currently quite slim.
Another case that is of particular interest to Montreal Canadiens fans is that of Samuel Montembeault.
Monty is one of the best Canadian goalies in the NHL, but does he really deserve his place?

During the last Insider TradingPierre LeBrun mentioned that there would be two goalies who seem to have a better chance of making the lineup.
There would be a consensus within the management of the Canadian team, while Jordan Binnington (St. Louis Blues) and Adin Hill (Vegas Golden Knights) would be the two favorites.

On the other hand, the real debate will now be to know which goalkeeper will be the third.
Obviously, Samuel Montembeault is a popular name in Quebec, but there are other very serious candidates.

He won’t have the pressure of performing in a new amphitheater, or at least in a little-known location.
For Joey Daccord, although he was born and raised in Boston and his mother is Swiss, his father is Canadian and the goalkeeper can therefore represent one of these three countries.
He has one of the best save percentages in the NHL currently, with a rate of 0.922.
