FC Nantes: the locker room would start to let go of Kombouaré!

The situation is getting a little more complicated for Antoine Kombouaré at FC Nantes, now the target of certain criticism from his players.

If Waldemar Kita has chosen to maintain his confidence in Antoine Kombouaré (for the moment!), Kanak's situation at FC Nantes nonetheless remains quite precarious. Although the 61-year-old technician will not be judged on the result of the next match at the Parc des Princes against PSG, the series of derbies against Rennes and Brest could be fatal for him.

Furthermore, and this is not a good sign for Antoine Kombouaré, this does not seem to be completely the sacred union behind in the locker room… Contrary to what the first echoes suggested.

Ouest-France reports some problematic distensions at this level: “For several weeks, certain players have pointed out aside the technician's difficulties in renewing his speech and the absence of a clear tactical framework”.

As a reminder, Antoine Kombouaré is still under contract with FC Nantes until June 2026 at a nice salary of €100,000 gross per month. A situation which implies that the Kita family must sign him a fairly generous check if he has to part with the native of Nouméa and his staff.
