Our little heroes in the spotlight against , French football is mobilizing for the protection of children

On the occasion of International Children’s Rights Day, French football mobilized for the protection of children. A solidarity which also aims to remind everyone of the call number 119 – Hello Childhood in Danger, confidential and free call 24/7 – number to call when you are a victim or witness of a child situation in hazard. Making this number known is essential to helping children and may simply save their lives.

On this occasion, OGC hosted the Children’s Tournament last week, and the 216 children supported by child protection associations from all over .

A week after having honored OGC Nice, by proudly wearing their jersey during the 4th Child Defenders Tournament held at the Allianz Riviera, the pichouï supported by the Montjoye association had a magnificent evening in the Plaine du , on the sidelines of the Nice – match (2-1).

Dances, smiles. A simple and collective joy, in the middle of the night: the children were true to themselves, that is to say magnificent! With their supervisors, Elton, Nolan, Farid and the whole gang lit up an evening dedicated to them: “It was so good. A real cloud of happiness »whispered the first named. The perfect summary of a lovely evening.

During this 12th day of Ligue 1, the young people of Nice had the privilege of living memorable experiences: welcoming the players when they got off the bus, warming up at the edge of the pitch, going live on DAZN, where they had a sticker the stele where the match ball, specially designed in the colors of childhood, rested. A cause displayed everywhere this Sunday: on the formal entry arch for the players, on the pre-match tifo – deployed last week, on the day of the tournament -, on the t-shirts of the delegates, the referees, the coaches…

At the end of the match, 6 autographed match balls were auctioned on matchwornshirt.com. All donations will be donated to the CNAPE, which supports children in difficulty.

OGC Nice congratulates and thanks its little heroes, who proudly wore our jersey. With us, they will always be at home.
