The CAF Technical Study Group (TSG), made up of football experts, coaches and technical advisors, developed this standard team which reflects the collective and individual excellence of the participants. It includes four players from the FC Masar club, bronze medalist, four from TP Mazembe, winner of the 2024 edition, two from AS FAR, African vice-champion team and a representative of the Edo Queens.
– At the goalkeeper level: Habiba Emad Sabry (FC Masar), voted best goalkeeper of the tournament, stands out thanks to her spectacular interventions and her authority in the area.
– The defense is made up of Shadia Nankya and Aisha Nantongo (FC Masar) who provide robustness and serenity in the central hinge, as well as Miracle Usani (Edo Queens) and Vukulu Belange (TP Mazembe) securing the corridors.
– In midfield, there is Marline Kasaj (TP Mazembe) who stands out for his box-to-box role. Sanaa Mssoudy (AS FAR) and Sandrine Niyonkuru (FC Masar) also bring their creativity and dynamism.
– In attack, we find Doha El Madani (AS FAR), top scorer in the competition, on the right flank, Lacho Marta (TP Mazembe) who brings percussion on the left wing, while Merveille Kanjinga (TP Mazembe) ‘imposes at the tip.
This typical team highlights the talents that impacted the tournament which celebrated the excellence of African women’s football.
