El Kaabi scores a hat-trick and becomes the top scorer in the championship

Undisputed star of Olympiakos, Ayoub El Kaabi once again shone with his club. The Moroccan international scored a hat-trick which allowed his team to win against AEK Athens with a score of 4-1, Sunday November 24, during the 21st day of the Greek Super League.

El Kaabi got the ball rolling in the 7th minute with a penalty, before adding a second goal in the 49th minute. Two minutes later, he completed his hat-trick, bringing his personal and team tally to three goals. His teammate Gelson Martins scored the fourth goal for Olympiakos, while Anthony Martial saved the honor for AEK Athens with their only goal.

Thanks to this hat-trick, El Kaabi takes the lead in the Super League scorers’ ranking with a total of 10 goals and two assists, ahead of Giift Bentancur of Panserraikos, who has 9 goals.

With this victory, Olympiakos climbs to first place in the standings with 24 points, while AEK Athens falls to fourth place with 21 points.
