R1: Stade Pontivyen made short work of Plouzané

R1. Plouzané AC – Stade Pontivyen: 0-5

Having chosen to start with the wind at their backs, the visitors opened the scoring quite quickly with their captain Derennes who beat Fitamant, the Plouzané goalkeeper, with a shot out of range (0-1, 14′). A few minutes later, the same Derennes missed a goal following a pass from Beaugendre (21′), which did not prevent Pontivy from doubling the score on a beautiful 35-meter strike from Guehenneux (0-2, 29 ‘). He was very close to doing it again, but his shot hit Fitamant’s post (38’).

After the break, Stade Pontivyen finally increased the score through Corbin, well served by Le Floch who had just pierced the Finistère defense (0-3, 49′). It was then Beaugendre’s turn to stand out by going to deceive Fitamant (0-4, 70′) then Le Floch, author of a very good match, scored a few minutes later the last goal of the match (0 -5, 75′).

Plouzané could have reduced the score through Magalhaes, but his free kick taken 25 meters from the Pontivy goal crashed onto the crossbar (85′).

BUTS. Stade Pontivyen: Derennes (14′), Guehenneux (29′), Corbin (49′), Beaugendre (70′), Le Floch (75′).

Warnings. Plouzané AC: Goïc (45′).
