While the Moroccan Federation is stepping up initiatives to convince Bouaddi to join the Atlas Lions’ den, the French Federation (FFF) is doing everything possible to keep the player within the Blues, a source indicates to Hesport.

According to the same source, the Moroccan Federation has already succeeded in establishing a Moroccan identity card for the player and should soon have him obtain a Moroccan passport, two essential documents for the change of Bouaddi’s sporting nationality. For its part, the FFF would exert strong pressure on Bouaddi to dissuade him from wearing the Moroccan jersey.

The young player is in the plans of Bernard Diomède, coach of the France U20 team, who is counting on him to achieve exploits. Through his talent, he has revealed himself as one of the promises of French football. Bouaddi made his Champions League debut against Real Madrid a few weeks ago, on the eve of his 17th birthday, becoming one of the youngest players to take part in this competition.

This season, Bouaddi has provided an assist in 12 matches in all competitions with . His contract with the French club runs until the summer of 2027.
