Montreal Canadiens prospect Michael Hage was on the ice for most of the goals in a 10-6 University of Michigan victory over Penn State University, for better or for worse.
Saturday evening was a real roller coaster experience for the 18-year-old young man. Even though he had a goal and four assists, he finished with a differential of -4. He was therefore on the ice for five of the opponent’s six goals.

Not far behind in the crazy stats category, teammate TJ Hughes scored four goals and added an assist. Evan Werner and Jacob Truscott had four points each.
Poor Penn State goaltender Noah Grannan allowed no less than seven goals on 19 shots. His assistant John Seifarth did no better with three goals allowed on 11 shots.
In 11 games, Hage has eight goals and 16 points, which ranks him eighth in NCAA scoring. Remember that he was the 21st pick in the most recent National Hockey League draft.
