Ancelotti's radical exit on Mbappé's mind

Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti has reacted strongly to speculation about Kylian Mbappé's mental health, calling it “ugly” to make such assumptions. During a press conference before the La Liga match against Leganés, the Italian coach said: “I don't have the impression that he has mental health problems. I see him happy to be here. If so, he doesn't show it. But I think speculating on issues like this is a bit ugly. »

Ancelotti does not like debates on the subject

Kylian Mbappé is going through a difficult period, marked by poor sporting performances for several months and extra-sporting affairs, in particular a dispute with PSG and potential rape accusations relayed by the Swedish press. For the second time in a row, Didier Deschamps chose not to call him up for the French team, citing a “fragile psychological state”.

Ancelotti, however, was confident: “This bad patch will end. […] All the great attackers have been there. He is motivated, happy, […] I am convinced that he will have a great match tomorrow. » The Real coach underlined the exceptional qualities of his player and highlighted his physical work during the break: “He trained well. […] I don't need to tell him how to attack, he could do it. » The Italian coach remains convinced that this delicate period will only be a memory after the match against Leganés.
