Saint-Gaudens. Satisfactory results for the Saint-Gaudinois in Alès

This weekend, it was the town of Alès which, in turn, organized the first regional individual M13 circuit of the season. Despite the distance to cover, the Saint-Gaudin delegation represented was impressive: two boys and eight girls! Anatole Pshenychnov and Maxime Estadieu had great fights, victories and defeats, Anatole finished 10th and Maxime in the top twenty. As for the girls, they didn’t make a trip in vain either. Nina Pshenychnov, Alice Gaillard, Sarah Trecant, Camille Pons, Romane Schiavon, Océane Aranda, Kiara Vinsonneau and the “Kikounette” Nina Auvray, upgraded M11, all shot very well. The palms go to Nina and Alice who, respectively 1st and 3rd in the Occitan tournament, both climbed onto the podium. We will meet some of these future U13 champions next week in , but upgraded to U15… It will obviously be a little more difficult for them.

The rest of the weekend was reserved for veterans. Marie Goaziou, now a tournament regular, placed 6th, Céline Junqua, a fencer for a few weeks, took part in her first competition, she nevertheless managed to win a fight and placed 7th. As usual, it is Fanny Fourgeaud who stands out the most. Fanny leaves with the silver medal and retains her place as regional leader. No podium for the boys despite some good fights, notably that of Laurent Auvray who, in the elimination table, lost by one touch against a formidable opponent.

During this time, Lou Auvray participated in the national M20 circuit in . She ranks 14th, a very good performance for a first year in this age category.
