The Pickleball Winter Open is here!

After the success of the first French Pickleball Open last June, the French Tennis Federation decided to organize a new tournament: the Winter Pickleball Open.

The FFT will see you from January 17 to 19, in Marcq-en-Baœul for this new competition. All pickleball enthusiasts are invited to participate in the Winter Open of the discipline, a tournament classified among the highest category of tournament of the practice and co-organized by the Federation and the Hauts-de-France league.

Very committed to the expansion of the practice in France, the Hauts-de-France league has carried out several actions within its clubs since the start of this season, including discovery days organized last September.

As a reminder, the different levels of play are divided into three categories: 3.0 (first-time competitors level), 4.0 (intermediate level) and 5.0 (elite level). The tournament will be organized over three days, according to the following schedule:

• Friday January 17: women’s singles & men’s singles Seniors (+19 years old) and over 50 years old
• Saturday January 18: women’s doubles & men’s doubles; Seniors (+19 years) and +50 years
• Sunday January 19: Mixed doubles; Seniors (+19 years) and +50 years

Conditions d’inscription :

• From November 15, 2024 (deadline December 31, 2024)
• Be a multi-racket club or pickleball license
• 20€ per person and per event
• Total prize money: €3,000 (only for categories 5.0 +19 years old)
