The Belgian journalist Sacha Tavolieri confirmed the news: all Deinze players will be free from any contracts in a week. This also means that they will not play this weekend against Francs Borains.
In the meantime, the new board remains very silent and no one knows what will happen to the club. It is possible that a youth team will be sent to the field, but this is not confirmed.
Celine Mawetthe club’s new CEO, told the Newspaper that she remains hopeful for a favorable outcome: “I am an intermediary and I work in the interest of the club. Now that the takeover is finalized, I am waiting, like everyone else, for the necessary funds.”
Players will not train this Monday and any other day of the week if the situation does not improve.
If salaries are not paid by next weekend (or if there is no agreement with the club), it is very likely that Deinze will not play against Francs Borains… Forfeit , or perhaps with an incomplete team of players?
