The management of the Montreal Canadiens risks finding itself with an interesting puzzle on its hands in the coming weeks.
With the upcoming returns to the game of forwards Rafaël Harvey-Pinard and Patrik Laine, difficult decisions will have to be made, observed TVA Sports NHL reporter Renaud Lavoie on Tuesday on “JiC”.

Harvey-Pinard, who will return to form for three games with the Laval Rocket, risks being back in the fold of the Habs at the beginning of next week, he explained.
Laine, for his part, has shown good things on the ice in recent days and it remains possible that he returns to the game towards the end of the month.
The organization will therefore have to return a man to Laval to make room for them. This player could be Emil Heineman, but he “can no longer come out of training,” said Renaud, citing the Swede’s physical involvement as well as his efforts in attack.
It could also be Lucas Condotta, but be careful: if he has played more than ten matches with CH at the time of his possible demotion, he will have to go through waivers.
And he too, at the moment, doesn’t seem too bad with the big club.
“If he continues like this, the business card he is leaving is very beautiful,” explained our colleague.
That leaves Michael Pezzetta, who no longer plays, but who will have to go through waivers if he is demoted.
What will Kent Hughes and Jeff Gorton decide?
