Pierre Gasly very close to entering the history of the discipline for a pretty crazy reason

Pierre Gasly very close to making Formula 1 history for a pretty crazy reason. The Alpine driver, who unveiled a new special livery for the last three Grands Prix of the season, with an all-pink car, could indeed become the cleanest driver in history. Thus, while Max Verstappen is heading towards a fourth world title in a row and could be crowned at the Las Vegas Grand Prix this weekend, it turns out that Gasly could make history in his own way at the end of the season by becoming the very first Formula 1 driver not to have cost his team a penny of equipment.

Gasly close to making history

While the Frenchman has been forced to retire three times this season, despite himself, he remains on a splendid podium at the Brazilian Grand Prix, where he came 3rd behind Max Verstappen, winner, and his teammate Esteban Ocon, 2nd. But with three Grands Prix remaining this season, Gasly could well achieve a simply historic performance, as relayed by RTBF. Since the start of this 2024 season, the Alpine driver has never committed the slightest accident this season, has never punctured or damaged his wing and he could therefore become the first driver in the history of the discipline to complete a season without having inflicted any unpleasant damage on his car. Gasly still has three Grands Prix to complete, so he is closer than ever to writing history in his own way and demonstrating that he is a hell of a driver.
