The future of Belgian football…and its club: a candidate for the Devils extends until 2029 – All football

Mika Godts has extended his contract with Ajax. Our compatriot continues to gain importance in Amsterdam.

What a journey Mika Godts has come at Ajax since his arrival from Genk U23s less than two years ago. First integrated into the Espoirs, the 19-year-old from Louvan continues to grow within the first team (already 6 goals and 5 assists this season).

His contract was re-evaluated up to his status. Here he is linked to the club until 2029, with the salary that goes with it.

“Since arriving at Ajax, Mika has made impressive progress and has really found his feet here in Amsterdam. This season, under the management of Francesco Farioli, he has really flourished and gotten stronger with each match.” welcomes technical director Alex Kroes.

The present and future of Ajax

“With his individual moves, goals and assists, he is a very important player in our attacking line. Unfortunately, he is currently sidelined due to injury, but we hope to see him back on the pitch soon ” continues Kroes.

This ischial injury will keep him in the infirmary for a month. It also deprived him of the play-off for the Euro with the Diablotins. Anyone who has still not been able to honor the slightest selection with our U21s is expected to join the core of the Devils in the relatively near future.
