At the end of the eighth day of Serie A, Olimpia Milan won an important victory this Monday. Ousmane Diop and his teammates beat Cremona (83-95) on the road before the international break.
After their small victory last week against Venezia, the Milanese intended to continue fighting so as not to fall behind in the standings. The Reds and Whites took the upper hand during their confrontation against Cremona in a very controlled match, as evidenced by their lead at the break (38-54).
During the restart, Ousmane Diop and his teammates lifted their feet slightly, which allowed the locals to reduce their deficit to three points at the end of the third quarter (67-70). Milan accelerated in the last quarter, which was beneficial since at the end of the match, they won with a twelve point lead. The Milanese therefore end the last day on a good note before the international break which begins this week.
