Is the divorce finalized between Achraf Bencharki and Al-Rayyan? After the rumors which circulated about a possible termination of contract of the Moroccan international, the Qatari club wanted to set the record straight.
According to an official source cited by Hesport, rumors of a termination of Achraf Bencharki’s contract are unfounded. Indeed, the source affirms that Al-Rayyan management has not started any discussions with the player on this subject for the moment.
The same source specified that Al-Rayyan leaders will make a decision in the coming days concerning the players likely to leave the team during the winter transfer market.
Arriving at the start of the season as a free agent after the end of his contract, Bencharki signed with Al-Rayyan to compensate for the departure of his compatriot Sofiane Boufal. He is under contract with the club until the summer of 2025.
Since his arrival, Bencharki has played 13 matches in all competitions, scoring one goal and providing 6 assists.
