Real Madrid are preparing big changes for this winter

As the winter transfer window approaches, Real Madrid is faced with crucial decisions to strengthen a squad weakened by injuries. This period, rarely taken advantage of by the Merengues, could well mark a strategic turning point for Carlo Ancelotti’s club.

Since 2020, with the discreet arrival of Reinier, Real Madrid has not made any notable transfers in January. However, current challenges push us to re-examine this historical posture. Added to this is a major internal debate: the Spanishization of the workforce. A shift which would aim to better represent national football and satisfy UEFA quotas, while strengthening links with La Roja.

However, this strategy seems to contradict the rumors surrounding the next summer recruits. Alphonso Davies, Trent Alexander-Arnold, Florian Wirtz and even Joshua Kimmich are mentioned, but none meets the objective of integrating more local players. A dilemma which could shape the sporting and identity future of the Madrid club.
