The SCF in 2nd national rank

Affiliated with the majority federation, the French Federation of Underwater Sports (FFESSM)the Fougerais club is one of 2,500 French clubs which have more than 130,000 members.

Remarkable fact: for 5 years, the SCF has been ranked 2nd nationally among clubs. Created in 1973 by some members of the SAGEMthe club today has 180 members, including some women.

After four years at the head of the club, Sylvie Lesage decided to hand over the reins at the last general meeting. It is now Christophe Communier who presides over the destiny of the sport sous-marin fougerais.

The club offers four sections: target shooting and underwater fishing, freediving, swimming with fins and scuba tank. Training (4.5 hours per week, Monday and Wednesday) takes place at theAquatic.

During the saison which runs from the end of October to the beginning of June, around ten competitions with ranking are offered to members.

The French championship will take place at the beginning of June 2025 at Caen. Next April 26 at theAquatic The 14th Felger Trophy organized by the SCF will take place.
