Medhi Benatia intends to settle in for the long term within Olympique de Marseille. Right-hand man of President Pablo Longoria, the former captain of the Atlas Lion should extend with the Phocaeans, and could obtain a promotion.
According to information from L’Equipe, the 37-year-old sports advisor has become an indispensable element in the management of OM. The former Atlas Lion, whose contract as sports advisor should end on December 5, should be extended for the long term. The same source claims that Benatia would consider settling with her family in Marseille, who currently lives in Dubai.
Even more, the former Juventus Turin player should have more responsibilities, and could even be promoted as sporting director by the president of OM.
