Ford Performance formalizes its crews for the 2025 IMSA season, where two Mustang GT3s will once again be involved in GTD PRO. Ford Multimatic Motorsports is revamping its duos for next season, with a mix of youth and experience.
The #64 will be entrusted for the entire campaign to Mike Rockenfeller (41 years old) and Sebastian Priaulx (23 years old). #65 will bring together Christopher Mies (35 years old) and Frédéric Vervisch (38 years old). The last two mentioned were already in the seat of a Mustang in the IMSA endurance races this year.
In the long races, Ben Barker will support the #64, while Dennis Olsen will officiate the #65.
The blue oval firm and its Canadian partner are therefore parting ways with veterans Joey Hand and Dirk Müller, but also Harry Tincknell in favor of Seb Priaulx, Christopher Mies and Frédéric Vervisch. As a reminder, Tincknell is expected in 2025 in the seat of the Aston Martin Valkyrie LMH.
Mark Rushbrook, Ford Performance Motorsports director, is delighted with his 2025 squad: “I am very excited about this group of drivers. This is a fast group that will help us improve our performance in 2024, and I can’t wait to see what this team accomplishes next season. Now it’s time to get back on the track and take the next steps to make the Mustang GT3 a consistent race winner! »
The Ford Mustang GT3s are also on track this week at Daytona during the collective tests organized by IMSA and which will see, for the first time, the GT3s equipped with torque meters.
