Utah hockey club jerseys have been on sale since Friday and fans have gone to great lengths to get their hands on one.
A colossal line was seen around the team’s official store at the Delta Center. Some season ticket holders have reportedly been queuing since 4 a.m. hoping to get their hands on a jersey of their favorites.
According to KSL Sports insider Cole Bagley, some people even took sick leave to get there. The store will be open for everyone starting at noon Utah time.
The former Arizona Coyotes’ vests were not supposed to be available until 2025, but their sale was ultimately brought forward. It had been reported that Fanatics was to produce jerseys for only nine players, but fans were surprised to see more when they arrived at the store.
In addition to the jerseys of crowd favorites like captain Clayton Keller or young forwards Dylan Guenther and Logan Cooley, fans were able to purchase that of Quebec defender Maveric Lamoureux, who is just beginning his career in the National League.
Customization of vests is also available and should charm many fanatics. Online sales have also started, but the products are selling like hot cakes.
These jerseys will quickly become collector’s items as Utah HC is expected to reveal the name of its team by the start of the next season.
