After leaving the gathering, Sahraoui and Richardson return to the club

According to information from Hesport, Walid Regragui’s men arrived in Gabon without Osame Sahraoui and Amir Richardson who were forced to leave the national team due to injuries.

Furthermore, the trip to face the Panthers for the CAN 2025 qualifiers was long, taking between 6 and 7 hours, with a stopover in Douala, Cameroon.

Although the town of Franceville in Gabon, which will host the meeting between the Panthers and the Atlas Lions, experienced showers this morning, the atmosphere within the Lions camp remains positive before the match scheduled for Friday, November 15 at 8:00 p.m. .

Note that the Gabonese team has already validated its qualification for the CAN, which will take place in Morocco at the end of next year, thanks to the victory of Lesotho (1-0) against the Central African Republic earlier in the day.

For its part, Morocco is already qualified for CAN-2025 as host country. The latter is housed in group B alongside Gabon, Central Africa and Lesotho.

Morocco leads its group with 12 points, while Gabon occupies second place with seven points ahead of the Central African Republic (3 points). Lesotho, already eliminated, is ranked fourth with just one point.
