Tunisia qualified for CAN Morocco-2025

The Tunisian football team won their ticket this Thursday evening for the 2025 African Cup of Nations (CAN), which will be held in Morocco, after a narrow 3-2 victory against Madagascar on the penultimate day. of the Group A qualifiers, played in Pretoria.

The Tunisian goals were scored by Hamza Rafia (6th minute), Seifeddine Labidi (40th minute) and Ali Abdi (90+2). On the Malagasy side, the goals were scored on an own goal from Amanallah Memmiche (21st minute) and a shot from Ibrahim Amada (45+3).

Thanks to this success, the Carthage Eagles maintain first place in the group with 10 points, ahead of Comoros (6 points in four matches), Gambia (5 points in four matches) and Madagascar (2 points in five matches).

The fifth day of Group A ends this Saturday with a duel between Gambia and Comoros. The final day, scheduled for next Monday, will see Tunisia face Gambia at the Radès stadium, while Comoros will face Madagascar.

With this victory, Tunisia secures its place in the continental competition, while the other teams in the group will have to battle in the final matches to determine the final ranking of the group.
