Fez – El Mahdi El Azzouzi was elected Monday as the new president of Wydad Athlétic de Fez (WAF), football section, to succeed Abdelmounaim El Hajjouji.
The list presented by Mr. El Azzouzi to lead the WAF team was approved by the extraordinary general assembly held on Monday for this purpose.
In a statement to the press, the new president indicated that all Moroccan teams are in the process of renewing their structures, including the WAF, saluting the distinguished career of the team during nearly eight decades of existence on the sporting scene. national.
He added that the action plan of the new office will be developed soon on the basis of proposals from supporters and members of the management team, noting that “participatory action is the only condition for success and development of the team” .
Mr. El Azzouzi also expressed hope of building a great team and realizing the aspirations of supporters, welcoming the results achieved by the previous office.
WAF, coached by Azedine Bouzeraa, plays in Botola Pro D2 and currently occupies 12th place with 7 points.
