Serie A, Paul Pogba and Juventus finalize their divorce

It’s well and truly over between Paul Pogba and Juventus. Returning soon from suspension, the French international wanted to resume with the Old Lady. But this wish would not be the same on the side of the Turin leaders who no longer count on the former Manchester United midfielder. Ultimately, the two parties will separate in the coming days.

Divorce confirmed between Paul Pogba and Juventus

Initially suspended for four years after testing positive for testosterone, Paul Pogba saw his sanction reduced to eighteen months by the CAS last month. Thus, the former resident of Le Havre will be able to resume training in January before returning to official competition in March. A return that Paul Pogba would have liked to experience with Juventus Turin. Except that the Old Lady is not of this opinion and has clearly shown her intentions to part ways with one of the highest salaries in her workforce. A divorce which will finally be recorded between the two parties in a few days.

Under contract until 2026, Paul Pogba will not complete his lease with the Italian club. Sky Sports announced this Monday that discussions between the two parties for a contract termination would be in the final stages. Juventus is in fact negotiating with the player’s clan in order to find an amicable agreement. Paul Pogba’s entourage is reportedly waiting for the end of the discussions and his official release to launch negotiations with his suitors, according to the English tabloid. The 2018 world champion has no shortage of contenders and has been announced in recent weeks in Saudi Arabia, in MLS and even at Olympique de Marseille.
