In view of the match against Argentina, the Paraguayan federation has made a decision that is surprising to say the least.
Next week, the nations of Europe will compete in the Nations League. Those in South America will be focused on the qualifiers for the 2026 World Cup. Paraguay will host Argentina on November 14 as part of the 11th day.
For this match, the Paraguayan federation made a strong decision.
“Fans will not be allowed to enter wearing Argentina, Barcelona or Inter Miami jerseys with the name Messi, nor any clothing affiliated with visiting players” Fernando Villasboa, APF licensing director, told Radio La Red.
“All people (outside the visitor park) who will enter will not be able to enter with a jersey of the Argentine national team, Argentine clubs or clubs that contain the names of players from other countries”added the leader.
Paraguay therefore wants to gather all its strength before facing the leader of the qualifiers. Remember that in the first leg, Paraguay lost in Argentina (0-1).
