Vierzon FC held to a draw on home turf by FC Ouest Tourangeau

Before kick-off, there was a twelve-point difference in the standings between VFC, fourth, and FC Ouest Tourangeau, bottom with just one point on the clock. On the pitch, on the other hand, there is frankly not a world of difference between the two teams.

If Bilel Benosmane opened the scoring very early for Vierzon, on the first offensive of Romain Dupuis’ men (1-0, 3rd), the FCOT all but collapsed. The match was open and the Tourangeaux, after several heated situations, equalized through Bouzrara (1-1, 25th).

Vierzon – especially Chamoueni – missed the inevitable before returning to the locker room. And everything remained to be done in the second half. Both teams had their chances, but it was either off target or caught by both goalkeepers.

And at the end of a choppy and more intense end to the match, it was a sharing of points that punctuated the evening.

This Sunday, in this same N3 group, Bourges Moulon welcomes C’Chartres at 3 p.m. at the Du Manoir stadium.
