In the press release published Friday by the National Information Agency (ANI, official), the minister specifies that subscribers who have had to flee their homes can request the deactivation of their subscription free of charge to no longer be charged fees. Second point: Ogero subscribers who depend on a telephone exchange damaged or destroyed by bombing will have their contract suspended from the date on which the exchange ceased to operate.
Finally, the minister specifies that subscribers who have been forced to move can transfer their subscription to their new address free of charge. If the subscription is already suspended, they will be able to reactivate it at no cost. Billing will resume on the date of reactivation or transfer.
