Which club will succeed Mamelodi Sundowns Ladies?

The CAF Women’s Champions League 2024 officially starts this Saturday November 9, 2024 at Morocco. The race will therefore be on to find out the club that will succeed Mamelodi Sundowns Ladies, champions of the 2023 edition.

The CAF Women’s Champions League will begin 4th edition this afternoon. The opening match of the competition will pit TP Mazembe from DR Congo and University of Western Cape LFC from South Africa to El Abdi Stadium. This is the first participation of each of these two Group A opponents in the CAF Women’s Champions League. This is also the case for clubs such as Aigles of the Medina (Senegal), Edo Queens FC (Nigeria), FC Masar (Egypt) and Commercial Bank of Ethiopia Sports Association (Ethiopia).

All of these clubs are competing against tournament regulars such as AS Far of Morocco, champions of the 2022 CAF Women’s Champions League, and the Mamelodi Sundowns Ladieschampions of the 2021 and 2023 CAF Women’s Champions League. The South African club is still there, ready to give everything to continue with a second consecutive coronation and 3rd title in the tournament.
