Celebrini mystifies Fleury with an unusual maneuver

If prodigy Macklin Celebrini hasn’t been talked about much at the start of the season, it’s mainly because he missed 12 games due to a hip injury.

Celebrini was quick to show he belonged in the National Hockey League with a goal and an assist in the San Jose Sharks’ regular season opener on October 10. However, he subsequently fell on the floor.

But here he is back. And he’s going to be good as a titi, Celebrini.

If he was calm on his return to play, being shut out in a 2 to 1 victory for his team in overtime against the Columbus Blue Jackets last Tuesday, Celebrini amazed the gallery on Thursday evening against the Wild Minnesota.

The young striker, first in class in the 2024 draft, scored two goals, including one with a breathtaking maneuver. Celebrini skillfully made his way to center ice before taking a shot… without looking at the puck!

Goalkeeper Marc-André Fleury saw nothing but fire! Watch in the video above.

After three games, Celebrini already boasts four points, including three goals, in the NHL.
