“It should be illegal”: Club Brugge heavily criticized after victory against Aston Villa – All football

Aston Villa supporters who came to Jan Breydel were shocked by the aging facilities: damp walls, broken seats and dilapidated toilets. Their indignation quickly made the rounds on social networks.

Aston Villa fans who traveled complained about the facilities at the Jan Breydel Stadium. This temple of football is so old that it is obvious. Water oozes from the walls, electrical cables are visible and the toilets are in poor condition.

Some have even compared the stadium to that of Birmingham, which is not in excellent condition either. “Looks like they spent 10 million on renovations,” one supporter quipped.

On social networks, photos of the urinals have circulated. “This should be illegal,” one user commented, expressing disgust.

And that’s not all: the seats, for the most part, were in deplorable condition, many simply broken. The visitors’ stand, for its part, does not even offer protection against bad weather. In short, Club Brugge was heavily criticized.
