By resisting Timothy Weah's Juventus this Tuesday (1-1), LOSC has seven points at mid-term, but also numerous disciplinary sanctions. We take stock.
Lille's adventure in the Champions League takes an unexpected turn with, in four matches against Sporting CP, Real Madrid, Atlético and Juventus, seven points accumulated by LOSC at midway. The Mastiffs can look forward with confidence to the future and an upcoming trip to Bologna. This is nevertheless not complete, while several members of the locker room must be wary of new disciplinary sanctions. After four contested days, six of them received a yellow card, including two twice.
Indeed, Jonathan David (upon the reception of Real Madrid) and Benjamin André (this Tuesday) recorded a second sanction and now find themselves under the threat of a potential suspension. Given the number of injuries, it is better to avoid! The disciplinary rule is identical to that which governs the French championship games, with the exception that twelve matches must be held, and not ten. Thus, in the event of three warnings, a player is suspended for the next day of competition in Europe.
