???? Just before the Tedesco selection! Kevin De Bruyne back in business but overshadowed by the Portuguese fury – All football

Kevin De Bruyne played again with Manchester City. Even if it didn’t go as planned.

It has been since mid-September that Kevin De Bruyne had no longer appeared in an official match. The fault lies with this injury to the leg flexor muscle which did more than deprive him of the Devils’ last rally, keeping him on the sidelines for a month and a half.

Pep Guardiola knows him by heart and confirmed that he would be very careful, so as not to rush his return. KDB therefore remained on the bench against Bournemouth last weekend.

On the right track

Yesterday, he came on in the last ten minutes during the trip to Sporting Portugal, after Jérémy Doku also made his debut. But the return of Kevin De Bruyne was more anecdotal.

The score was already 4-1 for the Portuguese and did not change any further. The end of the match was more marked by the communion between the Sporting supporters and the coach Ruben Amorim, leaving for Manchester United to once again cross swords with Pep Guardiola.

To return to Kevin De Bruyne, this comeback is timely since Domenico Tedesco will reveal his selection for the Nations League matches this Friday. It remains to be seen whether our playing master will be sufficiently recovered to take part, or whether Manchester City will prefer to see him stay and continue his upgrading at the club, with his medical staff.
