No, Haut-Garonne footballers are not entitled to a weekend of rest but rather of awareness. After the recent incidents that occurred at the club l’US District 31 has decided. No matches will only take place on the weekend of November 9 and 10.

A call for respect and kindness

Faced with the rise in inappropriate behavior and attacks on educators prefers to take a back seat for a weekend. A decision which comes just a few days after the fire which struck the home of a Columérin educator.

“We have decided to interrupt all meetings this weekend District 31 and the League so that everyone takes a moment to reflect on the impact of their own behaviors. Our educators are essential to the successful completion of every game and practice,” the District says.

“Football is in danger”

Thus all the clubs in the department will be off for two days. The opportunity to raise awareness among young people and to remind people of certain fundamental rules.

“When educators suffer violence, all of football is in danger! We invite clubs to take advantage of this break to discuss and inform children and their parents about the importance of respect for those who support their passion,” concludes the District.
