It’s worrying to hear that there seems to be a misunderstanding of the system at the CH

In Montreal, things are not going well for the Canadian.

But in , quite the opposite is happening: the Rocket has dominated since the start of the season, having won eight of its first nine games.

How to explain this? Vincent Demuy, who is an analyst for Rocket matches (BPM Sports), may have put his finger on the problem…

The main person was on the airwaves of the Montreal sports station this morning to talk about the Rocket weekend and he shared an interesting observation.

His impression lately is that the players who have been demoted to Laval since the start of the season have arrived at the bottom a bit mixed.

There seems to be a misunderstanding of the system among the Canadian… But this is not the case for the Rocket:

If we look at the positive side of things, it allows young players to swim like fish in water in Laval.

They feel comfortable with the system and with the coach’s strategies (which are the same as in Montreal according to Pascal Vincent) and it shows in the club’s results.

But on the other hand… Hearing that is worrying when you think about what’s happening at the CH.

If the guys aren’t able to understand Martin St-Louis’ desires, it’s certain that it won’t work on the ice. Or maybe some CH players are just not interested in applying said system… But if that’s it, there is a real problem in the way we teach the guys at the top.

After all, everyone needs to be on the same page to move forward and clearly, that’s not the case right now.

Again, it’s illogical to see that Mailloux is talking about a different system in Laval while the Rocket coach says that it’s the same thing as in Montreal.

And that clearly indicates that there is confusion between what is taught in Laval and in Montreal.

As for the Rocket…

CH needs to score more goals and in Laval, there is one guy in particular who is doing well lately: Joshua Roy.

The Quebecer notably scored a hat trick at the end of the week and he now boasts 10 points in nine games this season with the Rocket.

For Tony Marinaro, it’s simple…

Roy deserves the chance to be recalled because he could help the CH to the top-6 of the club:

It’s true that Joshua Roy is collecting points at an interesting rate and that it comes at an interesting time when we look at what’s happening with the Canadian.

But ultimately, even if the CH recalls it, it will not change the way the players understand Martin St-Louis’ system.

This is the biggest problem… And it must be corrected quickly, otherwise the CH will continue to decline.
