Arsenal are reportedly considering a January move for Mohammed Kudus after a difficult start to the Premier League campaign.
According to the Mirror, the Gunners had already tried to sign Kudus from Ajax before his move to West Ham for £40 million last summer. But financial constraints scuttled his plans.
Now, as Arsenal look to strengthen their squad, Kudus could finally land at the Gunners, as Leandro Trossard has been linked with a potential move to Saudi Pro League club Al-Ittihad, which could create an opening for Kudus.
Trossard, who has struggled to find form of late, has not scored a goal since September, sparking frustration among Arsenal fans. During his disappointing performance against Newcastle, he did not have a single shot on target and was dispossessed of his ball 11 times.
Kudus is currently serving a suspension for violent behavior after being sent off during West Ham’s 4-1 defeat to Tottenham Hotspur. Despite this setback, he remained in the spotlight, notably after being spotted at Arsenal’s Emirates Stadium during Paris Saint-Germain’s impressive 2-0 Champions League victory. As January approaches, Kudus and Arsenal fans will be eager to see if a deal can finally come to fruition.
