At US Colomiers, a football club with nearly 800 members, there is astonishment. The club has also asserted its right of withdrawal. There will be no training or matches for 10 days.
On the night of October 28 to 29, from Thursday to Friday, the cars of two US Colomiers supervisors were set on fire. These are U11 educators, those who train children aged 9 and 10.
According to initial information, the vehicles were set on fire in front of the homes of the coaches, who live in two different towns, around twenty kilometers apart.
In a press release, the Occitanie football league, as well as the district, joined the club in expressing their amazement. Both authorities condemn these acts of violence.
Following the dramatic events which affected two educators of the US Colomiers club, the Occitanie Football League and the Haute-Garonne Football District join in the anger of the Club and denounce the acts committed against them.

The league and district provide support to both coaches and hope that “the police will be able to elucidate these heinous acts very quickly”.
US Colomiers has decided to exercise its right of withdrawal. An approach supported by the Occitanie Football League, as well as by the Haute-Garonne district. The club will therefore be on standby until November 11.
As such, all official meetings concerning US Colomiers are postponed to a later date.
