Matz Sels released three big performances in October with Nottingham Forest. The Devils’ second goalkeeper is nominated for the Premier League Player of the Month award.

Matz Sels is still in a period of discovery of the Premier League. Although he belonged to the Newcastle United club when he was loaned to Anderlecht, the Red Devil had only played 14 official matches with the Magpies.

From now on, the 32-year-old goalkeeper discovers the English championship in the shoes of a starter, under the colors of Nottingham Forest. And for the moment, things are going pretty well.

Starting each of the nine Premier League matches since the start of the season, Koen Casteels’ designated replacement in the national team has only conceded seven goals, with three clean sheets achieved. Nottingham is the surprising 7th in the championship, just ahead of Tottenham.
