These are two concurrent but distinct files which will be studied by two equally distinct commissions, at the headquarters of the Professional Football League, in Paris.
– The first is that of the postponement of the match between AC Ajaccio and Sporting Club de Bastia on Saturday October 26 on the lawn of the Michel Moretti stadium, in Ajaccio.
The meeting could not be completed due to the spectacular storm which suddenly fell on the city, accompanied by lightning and thunder, even causing power cuts.
There were still a few minutes left to play in the first period, as well as the entire second period, but after endless discussions behind the scenes, around 10:20 p.m., the officials announced that the match would not resume.
On Wednesday morning the competitions commission will have to set a new date for the derby to be replayed.

– The second file will be taken up by the disciplinary committee. It concerns the incidents which broke out a few minutes before the storm, in the Poli stand, between supporters. It was this violent altercation which caused the match to be interrupted, but it was not it, as we have seen, which prevented its resumption.
Saturday evening, more than an hour after the clashes in Lateral, calm had in fact returned, and the delegate announced that, in the area of security, the lights were green for a resumption of debates, while rainstorms Water continued to fall on the Michel Moretti Stadium.
However, this in no way lessens the seriousness of the facts. The disciplinary committee will study the case on Wednesday afternoon. We might not know any possible sanctions until a few days later.
