“Everyone seems so lost”, any pessimistic statements about life inside the club?

Things are going very badly at Stade Français. Five defeats in seven days of Top 14, a playing system which no longer seems to know where it stands, a staff which has just been reorganized after the departure of head coach Karim Ghezal… The semi-finalist from last season, which held the top spot in the rankings for so long, is now missing. And obviously, internally, the time is not at all for optimism or appeasement.

Expected “months of hardship”?

Our colleagues from Le Parisien reveal that there were altercations between players, even if a source close to the club speaks of a “simple hitch”. A tension explained by the poor results and the lack of automation found in the system that the staff wants to put in place? Perhaps an incident can happen in the life of a group, even if it is not necessarily encouraging when it is added to a complicated sporting context. A close friend of the club, who remained anonymous, also took the liberty of painting a fairly negative picture of the atmosphere at the club, with worried forecasts for the future.

Everything is bad at the moment. They are also unlucky, as is often the case in these cases. There is a massacre of wounded among the pillars.

Frankly, it’s difficult to know how it will end, but there is such tension, everyone seems so lost that we are preparing for months of struggle to keep up.

Candidate for the final stages one season, candidate for retention in the other? It’s hard to believe it and yet… The start is more than sluggish but the season has barely started. The truce will perhaps do the capital club the greatest good in order to set the record straight.
