FC Barcelona corrected FC Sevilla, but a young Belgian could still keep a smile (VIDEO)

If Gavi came on seven minutes from the end of this meeting, Dodi Lukebakio started for the Sevillians this Sunday evening. Albert Sambi Lokonga and Stannis Idumbo entered the game but were unable to reverse the trend.

But for the latter, the evening remained very positive despite the heavy defeat. The young 19-year-old Belgian attacking midfielder was indeed able to celebrate his first minutes of play since September 1 by going up to the 70th. And he crowned his rise in the game with a goal three minutes from time, his very first among professionals. He had already scored three goals in Dutch division 2, but with the Ajax U21s.

Complicated start with Sevilla

Arrived last January from the Ajax U21s, Stannis Idumbo has not yet managed to find a place in the starting eleven of Sevilla FC. Last season, he did not play a single minute with the first team, contenting himself with playing with the reserve team in Spanish Division 4.

This year, the Belgian U19 and U21 international only appeared once before his appearance against Barça. He then played 8 minutes against Girona. Stannis Idumbo hopes that this goal against Barça, anecdotal for the score of the match, will finally launch his adventure in Spain.
